Largest graduating class since 1977 for Spring Convocation
This spring, the University of Manitoba conferred degrees, diplomas, and certificates on 3,040 graduates—the largest class since 1977. The 137th annual Spring Convocation ran over three days. Each session can be viewed here.
“You are a joining an inspiring and illustrious group of men and women," said President and Vice-Chancellor David Barnard, in his address to students.
Earlier in spring, the Rady College of Medicine’s convocation recognized 106 new doctors. Seventy students received Diplomas in Agriculture at the School of Agriculture’s convocation. The university presented honorary degrees to six noteworthy individuals.
