Sports and Arts Program
The Canadian Sport Centre Manitoba and the Pembina Trails School Division developed the "Sports and Arts Program" for high performance athletes who wish to pursue their sport goals while maintaining a high standard in their academics. This program offers flexible timetables, individualized programs, performance contracts, teacher advisor programs, French immersion, and advanced placement courses.

For children, the benefits of sport are countless. This is why the Canadian Centre for Child Protection has developed a guide to help sport organizations create safer environments for children. The Commit to Kids Sport Edition kit provides strategies, policies, and a step-by-step plan for reducing the risk of child sexual abuse within sport organizations. It is easy to use, and can be adapted to meet the needs of either large or small organized sport programs.
