The VAW Systems Retrofit Solutions Team delivers a stack-insert silencer in order to mitigate tonal noise from an existing Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer exhaust fan.

Community noise concerns required a quick and effective solution, as the facility operated 24-hours per day within a mixed-use, industrial/residential area.

VAW Systems’ turn-key project delivery included a timely sound survey at both the facility and within the surrounding community, the design and fabrication of the heavy duty stack insert baffles, and a complete field installation.

Commercial Noise Control - Acoustic Louvers:

VAW Systems delivers quality acoustic louvers for various building applications, including generator room ventilation and building air intakes, among other air openings.

The acoustic louver may be used in lieu of a traditional rain louver in order to provide significantly more noise attenuation, and help the system meet any applicable outdoor noise ordinances.

There are several material and paint finish options available in order to meet the facility’s architectural design requirements.

In addition, VAW Systems’ acoustic louvers may be added to an equipment noise barrier system (roof-top or at-grade). This approach delivers the desired overall transmission loss, while accommodating any equipment ventilation requirements.
