VENT AND BLOW-OFF SILENCERS FOR PRESSURE RELIEF

VAW Systems' Vent and Blow-Off Silencers have been newly redesigned! They are specially engineered to reduce noise generated by the high differential pressure, at the time of a release during a system upset or shut-down in high pressure gas applications.

PROJECT CORNER - HIGH PERFORMANCE TURBINE EXHAUST

One of the world's largest power generation OEMs contracted VAW Systems to design a unique, high performance exhaust silencer for their new gas turbine system. VAW Systems' Engineers provided detailed acoustic and structural analysis, FEA and CFD modelling in order to ensure the 25,000 lb., 4-piece package meets the Customer's strict system qualification process. This robust, compact noise control package efficiently delivers high intensity gas flows and very high levels of broadband attenuation (32 to 8,000 Hz).
