Team Manitoba was awarded the Centennial Cup at the 2017 Canada Summer Games after winning a record-high 42 medals. This was the 6th time Manitoba won the award, and the first time a team has ever won the award in back to back summer games.

I began curling in Grade 1 after my dad came home from work one day and told us over supper he heard an ad for the junior curling program in Altona. My parents have been the greatest influence on my athletic career because they've always reminded me and my siblings that we are more than just the outcome of a game. They've sacrificed hours of their lives to drive me around, plan practices, coach games, and prepare food for me to eat on the road.
