2016 Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Celebrate Manitoba's rich sport heritage at the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame annual induction ceremony on Saturday, November 5th. Rub shoulders with Manitoba's finest athletes and sport builders. Explaining the Importance of Physical Literacy to Children

You already know the importance of physical literacy and healthy living, but the children in your life may not. Introduction to Physical & Health Literacy is a video intended for children aged 4-9. They will be introduced to the concepts of physical and health literacy. A general overview of both terms will be introduced and defined in order to help children and youth build the ground level knowledge needed to lead a healthy and active life every day.

New Exhibit Celebrating Winnipeg’s Pro Hockey History

The Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame’s new exhibit 60 Years of Pro Hockey in Winnipeg presented by the Winnipeg Jets is now open! This feature celebrates the old Winnipeg Arena, new MTS Centre, Winnipeg Warriors, WHA Jets, entry into the NHL Jets 1.0, Manitoba Moose in the IHL and AHL, return of the NHL Jets 2.0 and return of the Moose. Runs October 2016 through to April 2017 and is available to rent for school tours, birthday parties, and team windups.
