City of Winnipeg announces second round of small business grants
On Friday, May 28 the municipal government announced a second round of funding available through their COVID-19 Economic Support Grant Program. Small businesses and not-for-profit organizations that had to restrict access due to the May 9 public health orders can now apply online for a non-repayable grant. The grant can be used for rent, utilities, wages, personal protective equipment (PPE), sanitizing equipment, or other business expenses incurred.
Businesses that applied for the first round are eligible but will have to reapply for funding. Successful applicants will be awarded on a first come, first served basis so apply soon.
